Ha!

I'm a consist theorist alright. But what you say is no theory.

As a born and raised California I know you work no lie. I've lived 33 years in Los Angeles and every single summer it's "climate change this drought that" which might be a factor 🤷🏽 but the fact if the matter is, if we were to actually weed and clear our mountains of dead brush like other states do, these hills wouldn't go up so easy. And there's a billion arsonists, randos flicking cigarettes out their cars on the freeway sure... But then you have people that go around with 7up bottles with gas in em lighting cars up. Or lighting trees up. Or going into the mountains secretly and doing it properly then when they get caught for pictures of their car being near the ignition source they're like "wasn't me I was out of town that day" plus they're letting prisoners out of jail because it's overcrowded. So people go to jail for doing one thing get out the next day then go back and do it.

What's the recidivism rate on arson?

Yes! Maybe they aren’t hiring the arsonists but they definitely aren’t putting them in prison either. Or, at the very least they are using another “crisis” to pick my pocket and take more control.

They don't need to hire when it sounds fun to someone🤷🏽 not everyone knows the if you're got at something don't do it for free thing.

As a pyro myself, but in my hopefully healthy expression of it I'm the grill master and fire pit poker in my friends group🤷🏽

As a pyro myself I understand that honestly it's just pretty to watch🤷🏽

I think a lot of the arsonists out here anyway, but I imagine this is just an arsonist psyche thing, probably light something fairly small. A small trash pile, small patch of grass like a controlled burn, a single dead tree.

They think they can contain it then it gets unmanageable and spreads.

That in my head is the image I see. I think it's probably stupidity 🤷🏽 and like I said I like to play with fire so I'm talking about me too. Fun to watch. Easy to get burned. It's got a mind of it's own and the smarter thing is not to play at all 🤷🏽

I love fires too. I could sit and watch one in camp for hours.

Leggo

Didn't Cali have a very wet Spring this year? Are all of the viaducts and aquaducts full?

Still wet

That's why I've been depressy. Gray weather no fun.

But more wet just means more brush to dry and light cone summer 🤷🏽
