I think calle and Jack forgot about that.
There was a huge drop off ever since they made the (poor imo) design choice to force channels to only use relays who were allegedly in the same geographical location to the geohash. But now it seems just straight up ghost town overall 😔

IMHO this was never going to be anything more than a simple mesh network tool.
Great for disasters! It's like having a flashlight for when the power goes out.
But you don't use a flashlight to light your home regularly, you have better tools for that....
True, for the Bluetooth side of it at least. But it was also primed to be a global chat app through its integration with Nostr. But it seems it was neutered for the sake of the mesh network “feel”.
Yeah the "Chat" part always felt awkwardly "bolted on" to me. We have better tools for that IMHO.

I have it loaded on my phones, it is there for when it is needed but other forms of communication are easier and more useful most of the time. I expect to only really use it when the Government shuts down the internet when the people finally revolt against Net Zero and the rest of their depopulation plan...
