Is Trump's push to kill Department of Education on hold—or just hiding?
Discussion
I honestly hope he does.
Our public schools are prisons.
Ever since it was created our country took a nose dive into never ending stupidity compared to other nations.
Children in our public schools learn how to become helpless adults that do not even know how balance a checkbook.
Public schools do absolutely nothing positive for the kids that attend them. They are lied to from the beginning and are told if they just get good grades and behave that they can get into a good college and have a great paying job. However neglect to mention that you have to become an indentured servant to student loans for 20+ years just to pay it off.
Only to discover after graduating that there are no jobs available, or the market is shit. Then they look at their friends who went to learn a trade who make 100k+ a year. With no debt, or higher education. Living happy fulfilling lives.
This whole system is fucked. It deserves to be abolished and completely destroyed. Allowing schools, communities, and especially parents to dictate what is taught and learned in them. Without having to have big daddy department of education shovelling lies and modern slavery down their throats.
Then and only then will the USA be able to finally go back to a good system of education. That actually teaches kids real world skills and how to be fully functional intelligent adults. That can survive and thrive on their own day one after graduating from high school.
