there might be a few people from the fediverse that you want to follow, but if you don't already follow them, then you're not missing anything. amethyst makes it easy to mute entire domains.

Not nip-5 per se but you can mute words....

Even if so, it's not ideal since it also leaves the user out of discussions about the topic
