Nostr can't have apps? That would be pretty lame. I'm not looking at gambling where you'd need an oracle. I'm looking at distributed proveable games.

And yes, oracles are points of failure, but that's irrespective of nostr. You can't play chess without agreeing to a set of rules and having a ref that you trust, otherwise if we bet on a chess mass I will make my first move putting you in checkmate and take the funds.
