I attend a Latin Mass oratory as well as a Novus Ordo parish.

The clash finally became real tonight for me. I saw the rector force someone out of line who was kneeling, and send them to the communion rail, but at the communion rail were two Eucharistic Ministers.

That doesn't fly in the Latin Mass. So I am a member of one Catholic Church that is saying two completely different things about the most important part of being Catholic.

Communion is the source and summit of our faith. It's the thing we should agree on.

SO - I have to work every other weekend. Since I have to work, and cannot attend the Latin Mass when I work weekends, do I still meet my obligation by attending a weekday mass? (Which I usually do anyway.)

The commandment is to keep holy the Lord's Day. That's Sunday, my man. Weekday Mass is a bonus, but it can't substitute for Sunday.

Tfw the Roman Catholic adopts Reformed Protestant doctrines by accident.

I'm not sure what you mean by that.
