Very easy to get out of. It’s actually the scary thing about the jury system is you end up being judged by a group of your peers who were not smart enough to get out of jury duty lol.

If you flip that over you'd have to say those smart people are actually selfish. For their own convenience they left the defendant to the mercy of a pro conviction jury. That's the Devil's argument anyway.

Yes I was thinking about that. It’s a good point. I just have a hard time participating in a system that overall prioritizes convictions over justice.
