Haha, I've had too many mission critical systems go down with systemd & its a pain to debug. Openrc, runit and s6 are far simpler init systems that are rock solid & easy to debug. Systemd is unnecessarily complex, has bugs that cannot be fixed without total rewrite, has mission creep that again is not necessary, & hasnt had a security audit!
Just because "mainstream" is using it doesn't mean its right!
