I'm clicking from nostr:npub1plstrz6dhu8q4fq0e4rjpxe2fxe5x87y2w6xpm70gh9qh5tt66kqkgkx8j , but your question made me think, and I just copied the same link and I pasted directly on the browser, and then it worked. It seems like it's an Plebstr bug.
Yep, they might not support markdown yet. Also, I suggest installing through Obtainium instead of the link. :)
