Mullvad VPN was raided by Police

In line with their no logs policies they didn't keep any data or logs on their customers. They argued the police had no reason to expect to find what they were looking for and any seizures would therefore be illegal under Swedish law. After demonstrating that this is how their service worked the police left empty handed.

Mullvad VPN are one a only a few VPN provider I trust with my data.

Mullvad lightning checkout:

Proton is also a good option, so it iVPN

Personally I use IVPN and have trust in them (their no logs policy has been independently verified, network undergone multiple security audits, etc) however I gotta say I respect the fuck out of Mullvad for this.

I always thought of them as one of the "mainstream" VPNs but I hold them in much higher esteem now.

Yes, iVPN and Proton are also great options

I have a Proton premium subscription too. I use them as my main email and calendar etc instead of Google. The VPN is one I use sometimes, but I pay for IVPN as well because I’ve found ProtonVPN cuts out often. Everything will stop loading until I restart the connection and it happens often through different devices and networks even when I use WireGuard. IVPN doesn’t have the same problem.

Mullvad FTW 🧡

Trust no one, vpn is someone else’s computer. https://youtu.be/6uhRXLNSuU8

Is there any advantage on choosing a mullvad server in a more privacy friendly jurisdiction?

I'm thinking Switzerland for instance, since they have a good historic track record of respecting users' privacy from authorities (not that they are perfect by any means).

If you are targeted by a nation state, maybe. Technically none of their servers keep logs. Not using the same servers or country all the time would help

Seriously considering Mullvad. I've been happy with proton too but they don't take Bitcoin

I believe Proton take btc now
