I could get it working, there just hasn't been a large demand for it (or for sendsats.lol for that matter) so I haven't spent too much time on it.

I'm not even sure if signups still work... 😅 I mainly just use it for my node atm. It works a lot better with just an IP or dynamic DNS setup. sendsats masks your IP so that is nice if you're worried about it.

if you're using tor as a way to punch through your firewall, I would not recommend that, it's not meant for that, and it's insecure.

Thanks. 🙏🏻 makes sense! For us plebs all lightning node in a box options are all behind tor by default and you cannot easily have a clear net option(fairy imho).

Yeah it sucks that it’s so common. My theory has always been this is why lightning is so unreliable at times, especially when tor nodes are involved in routing. If we just used the internet normally things would be faster.
