The Green Party turned out to be less nuts than the CDU under Merkel, and I feel like that hasn't yet been digested.

We all just pretend like that never happened, and everyone is busy tidying up the mess she left, but I think we should be asking why that happened.

It seems... significant.

CDU under Merkel was basically Green Party light. Maybe she was or still is a communist agent. Her files regarding Stasi aren't disclosed yet and they are trying hard to avoid it. We will know more in a few decades.
