You could say that these guys behind https://dojobay.pw provide a service altruistically, but the thrust is that they collect your XPUBS.

This shitty circus of self-proclaimed privacy fighters (Samourai fans) that run honeypot servers and invite naive users to connect to them must end.

You don't have use Dojo bay, you can run your own Dojo on Start9 and not share your xpubs with a third party.

You don't have to fool people, you can just accept that privacy "warriors" should not collect naive users' xpubs.

This is same thing as using someone else's Electrum server on Blue wallet or using some Monero wallet while connecting to someone one else's node or paying for a VPN with a credit card. But no is busty Blue wallet or Sparrows wallet's balls over the same thing.

Privacy by trust based system is something that exists whether we like or not. Ultimately the end user/consumer has to do their own homework.

Nobody is talking about wallets, man! Do you understand when you read something? I am saying that it is wrong to collect XPUBs. Full stop. Say whatever you want but it was wrong, it is wrong and it will be wrong.

When you use Blue wallet and connect to a random electrum server you are sharing your XPUB.

No, you are not.

Touche. Your right. But my point remians the same. You do end up leaking information when your not running your own node. But I guess our main difference is where the responsibility lays with. I believe it's with user and you believe it's with service.
