I think the solution to this problem is to give more moderation tools to users (regardless of what each relay operator decides) my solution is the same as always: categorized smart lists (mute and feed) with subscription rate ... I tested that tool in Bluesky with 300,000 users and my feed was clean of furries and this type of things, just subscribing to two lists and making my own and thus helping others who told me that thanks to my list the feed was much more clean

PD: I don't defend pedophiles, my position on the matter has always been the same

FYI, DItto is the only Nostr relay software equipped to combat CSAM because it has moderation tools.

poster.place proudly runs ditto

I speak more from the user experience... the relay operator does what he believes best for his relay... in the same way, I think what I propose isn't that difficult to implement and it works

Every competing software to nostr acts that way

Some relays will maintain it, others will not, the difference is that you don't depend only on one relay... as a user, what I should be able to do most is share my well-categorized lists of mutes (if possible, they can be displayed in a list section in the profile) and let each user decide if they want to subscribe to it or copy the npups and create his own to handle it better... basically this is what I ask for in terms of moderation issues

or at least be able to report it to the relay admin and have them block the CSAM poster

I'm missing the option to report, good clarification

Come to ditto fren. The future of Nostr
