I grew up in the Lutheran church. I always thought it was amazing what Martin Luther did. I also grew up In the south and witnessed varying styles of churches and approaches to the christian faith. Even as a young kid I wasnt what you would call a true believer, but at the same time I yearned for spiritual guidance and growth. I've always been skeptical of large religious institutions. I read the gospels and got the sense that Jesus felt the same way. I'm never sure how to deal with this when I go to church.
People form their own traditions over time that usually have nothing to do with Jesus

I think we all need to be carefully reevaluating what we do and why. It’s a life-long journey
