I actually like #YouTube because there is no "Follow - Follower" thing .. and it does surface stories I am interested in .. what is wrong with it ?

I consider #Google and #Youtube an enemy and theat to mankind.
They
- collect and sell your private data,
- use all data to train their AI and
- create user profiles to prepare social credit system,
- ban and censor libertarian people and unwanted opinions.
- cuck up to governments,
- do the dirty work for governments (outsourcing illegal governmental spying on citizens),
- want to force you to use their spyware mobile fone app.

This belongs to the "cucking to government agenda" category.
I love to watch #Youtube Videos on privacy focused open source software with ad blockers and proxy, just to use their infrastructure and they have absolutely no benefit from that.
Sucking on them like a tick. They need to get weakened and croak.

Youtube is a sub-branch and totally controlled by Google, isn't it?

No ..its not foss :-) .... but we need to to be able to differentiate software from the company .. company ethos are just a passing fad .. software stays .. and improves ..
