I get this. I've wanted certain basic things added to an app that I use and pay for (outside of Nostr). Many people have made the same request. It's annoying to feel unheard or dismissed as the case may or may not be.

It's also got to be annoying to be a #dev and have people asking for stuff all the time... it's not just you or me asking it's us and a bunch of other people who we do or do not know.

Anyway, my way is to ask and then bide my time not knowing until an app or service that better suits my needs arrives and then make a decision : stay or go. (I'm looking at you #ProtonMail on #Android)

I don't care about the GIF button at all for what I use Nostr for but people with a real need for it do. 🫂🤙And devs have other stuff too.
