LOL ...I mean, they _could_ fund stuff, it's just that the deficit is laughably enormous. The only "Asset" on the US Treasury's balance sheet is the Tax Authority.

With a properly fiscally-responsible apparatus, the taxes would pay for everything.

And then it'd be way easier to just stop paying taxes and delete the State in one stroke 😅
