We are so utterly dependant on everything around us and who and what came before us and formed us in the most literal sense of the word, that I think pride just does not make sense.

And being proud of ‘a country’ is even more shaky. Its just a concept, a thought that one is proud of. Or does the pride really end with the last person, the final inch inside the border?

Fighting for your country makes it a country. Having friends die for a belief like individual liberty. Imo. 🫂

Countries operate like businesses. I do understand the fight for individual liberty. It appears that the country you may be fighting for is actually destroying individual liberty in other locations through actions such as theft of resources.
