The problem I have with an discourse surrounding 'cults' is that there is always an assumption that everyone else isn't in one.

so anything that doesn't involve serving some individual's interests, or a group of individuals, is not a cult
typical cult brainwashing strategy to even corrupt the definition of what a cult means, so you don't think there's a way out of the cage

Some people say three,
others say two,
many more say a larger number than that.
Nobody says one.
It reveals something about the idea of a cult.
