Has anyone here from Canada realized any fiat profits from bitcoin? Im assuming it’s taxed personally? Is it taxed at the same personal rate or is there any other taxation rules applied?

I’m not looking to sell, but my MIL is interested in buying bitcoin again and she wants to be able to cash out eventually.
Yes taxed personally I believe, unless you are purchasing withing a business. Fairly certain taxed as any other capital gains investment if you simply bought and then sold. But last I checked they consider mining bitcoin as revenue so I guess it depends how you obtained it.
