Good morning nostr, starting my first coffee a bit late today. I had multiple sleep interruptions because of our dog, so i needed to sleep in.

Today i might go plant a couple of bald cypress trees near our pond. A family member that visited recently (lives in austin), gave us 4 tiny bald cypress and said the Arbor Day foundation was giving away a bunch of them. Thats great and all, but everything i've read says those trees require lots more water than most. If they want to give away trees in texas, they should pick more hardy varieties, imo.
