#bookstr people, I have an #asknostr for you. I currently use goodreads but only as a list of books I've read with dates. I don't want the social aspects.
I want to switch to something else where my reading habits aren't public. What do you use or recommend?
I use a simple table in Google Sheets where I record the book, date completed, a couple of sentences to summarize and a score
Would be cool if there was a nostr solution for this.

it’s not privacy forward but its a pretty powerful tool.
If privacy is that much of a concern you could use Obsidian as the alternative
I have played with Obsidian. There is a steep initial learning curve I never bothered to get over. That is the best idea I've had so far.
Strongly recommend https://obsidian.md: a note-taking app with a beautiful interface, fully customizable with community plugins. All your notes are stored locally on your computer or mobile, with the possibility of synchronizing for access on multiple devices.
