It's much less bad than it used to be. We know Seedvault isn't a good implementation of a backup service and plan to replace it. Android's built-in backup infrastructure being used by Seedvault certainly provides that well.

I'll give it a shot again. I tried it about 1.5 years ago and it crapped out on me, never tried again.
Any timeline of a backup service replacement (even if super rough) or is it not on the development roadmap yet?
