Leadership is the Achilles heel of humanity/civilization/consciousness... It seems to work for a really long time, waxing and waning like the phases of the moon or the rising and setting of the sun, but then one day, a leader arises who is blinded by our own Light, and we all fall off the Edge and into the Void.
