What worries me about this ESG backlash is it's happening from the Judiciary all the way down through the Corporate and it feels very coordinated. Almost like we're coming to the end of a chapter that was already written.

As always, I smell a rat.

Hell yes. I mean, that they are abandoning their “values” is no surprise. That they are following the changing of the winds in order to remain in profit/power is also no surprise.

What I can’t wrap my head around is the speed with which it is happening. Trump isn’t even in office, yet.

My guess is that they are realizing the DEI crowd has always been the minority and that the general populace is increasingly very, very pissed off. They want to try to avoid being burned at the stake.

Do they even have this much awareness? Or is this part of the playbook to swing the pendulum to the other side as hard as possible? To create more and more anxiety until people beg for a central authority over everything?

Something feels contrived, that’s for sure.

simple, they invested already, now they will push the deals they made forward and profit.

It is damn fun watching the woke people melt down, tho.
