I asked because I got the impression that you had some knowledge, but not the full picture. I was specifically thinking of the story of Saul (Paul), which is in Acts.

He was a Jewish soldier tasked with persecution of the early church. He was hunting and imprisoning Christians and likely did many worse things, but Christ appeared to him and turned him into his servent. The remainder of the new testament is all written by Paul in the form of letters.

I've been meeting many Jews lately who have come to Christ and chosen to stand up for peace. Many more will come.
