Peoples beliefs systems have been completely mind controlled to the point that think people who use free speech platforms on the internet are instantly criminals and have hateful things to say.
All I see on Nostr is good people who just want some freedom to speak their mind online like in the old internet days before big Tech took over.

I'm not even sure most of them really think that but they hate the idea that nobody has control. Some (most) people these days are compliant sheep. As proven by covid
Using an all open social media platform and make it show you the content you desire by following the right people, using the right clients and utilize blocking is also self sovereignty!

💯 traditional media has been used to manipulate minds and divide using the tactics Edward bernays laid out in the 30's. If you want to keep people from realizing what they have in common you use small differences and make them a huge deal. Rev up both sides of debate with emotion.
I've watched this work time and again. It won't work on nostr or bitcoiners because we all know we have that one thing in common and it's power to unify is stronger than all the divisive tactics governments and the media they use to manipulate minds can muster.
We all know fix the money, fix the world!
We are going to have to make a choice as a collective. Safety or Freedom.
