This isn’t explicit.

It’s implicit, but many of the things we learned about our fellow Americans during Covid cannot be easily unlearned and these uncomfortable truths will color American life for the next 50 years from below the surface.

The ideology of the 20th century crumbled entirely during Covid and has not yet been replaced… but it will soon be.

defer to authority me HARDER

How does that develop as more of this genetic manipulation increases, many governments continue to push it whilst some sectors of society identify the dangers and see the deaths where other suffer a level of wilful blindness that boggles the mind?

One thing we learned is that most Americans are more like Canadians than they would like to admit. They’re cucks for the state.

I say this as a Canadian, reluctantly.

Nah, In America it's 50/50 cucks for the state/ people with spine

In Canada 90/10

America is like 75% libertarians (although many wouldn't recognize the label) and 25% authoritarians

But the American authoritarians are harder than the Canadians

lol

No way. America is at least 70/30. Agree that Canada is 90/10.

i agree ok 70/30 still best ratio in the world

It was sad to watch.

We were in Florida the day they closed the beaches lol, and everyone complied. I couldn’t believe it.

I think this is actually a net positive. It separated the wheat from the chaff.

I’m never going back.

Burn the boats

been thinking about this recently as well

Already happening. There was a clear and definite divide I'd say of 80/20.

The 20% made moves and began real change in their lives. I come across them all the time here in Portugal, scattered in small communities of young families from all over the world, Americans, Canadians, French, Dutch, English, German, South African.

All have the same things in common; saw the truth, lost friends and family over it, made moves, changed diet (vegans to carnivore) and started having children, multiple, usually by home birth.

It's like nature is doing it's thing to make sure it continues better and stronger.

The other 80% are lost and mostly unrecoverable unfortunately but such is Darwinism.

I keep sensing the 21st century will be more like the 19th, geopolitically. But for us - who learned from 2008-2020 - just more like, ‘what came before’.

Yep kanye is leading the way

Lololol

Kids playing at our neighborhood park nearby were photographed and posted to social media for breaking the rules. It was Spring 2020.

This was when I was most afraid. Afraid of being on the receiving end of real totalitarians.

sounds like a rather vague take to me.

The stakes have never been higher with the next century’s ideology waiting to be written.

For most in our generation (parents of young kids), our greatest contribution to this era will not be what we do, but will be who we raise.

I think a lot of our eyes were opened as to how fast our governments managed to go totalitarian on us because our fellow citizens trusted the science that the governments were pushing simultaneously around the world. That breaking of the trust is going to have major implications going forward particularly if they try to force Digital Identity and Central Bank Digital Currencies (CBDCs) as a precursor to Social Credit Scores and Carbon Credits / Allowances etc. We have let Governments take over too much of our lives already and it is scary how some of our fellow citizens would bend the knee even further...
