They didn't have a mortgage or taxes so they were in fact richer.

My grandparents have none of our modern luxuries, worked a small patch of land to grow food for the family to eat, worked hard. Different times, different challenges, but they did have mortgages and taxes. Taxes are eternal.

The generations before us were not that smart. They believed in the MSM & government. They were much more brainwashed then the current generations.

During their time it was also normal to have lots of kids and they had a lot of pressure to get married and start a family.

Back then you could afford housing. The majority of people are being priced out of a palce to live in today's age and we are being targeted through the food, air, water to destroy our fertility.

Their goal wasn't population decline back then, it is good. There is many factors going on.

Again though, we have our own challenges. If we don't rise to meet them, we'll die out. Perhaps it's the fate we deserve.

Who will die out? Maybe a big chunk of humans will but humanity will always keep going. Africa is still having lots of babies. If needed Western countries will just import them which is what they have been doing.

Nobody deserves to die out unless you don't value humans.

Then the standard of living for those shrinking generations will continue to fall. It's a damned shame. The thing is, economics are only a part of what is happening. There are health related issues which are probably more important. Low T levels, for a start. Cultural changes too. It's not a good course we're on, so rather than people complaining they're poor, it'd be better for the sake of humanity if they made more babies.

Africa is still having lots of kids so humanity will be fine.

I refuse to believe that taxes are god given. They are man made and as such open to be abandoned.

Absolutely- the quote that always comes to mind, for me, is 'taxes are the price we pay for failing to build a civilised society'. They are inevitable, because we continue to fail at the basics.

Theft and extortion at the base of society is better described as a barbarian state of society while living up to our potential would put voluntary interaction at the core.
