I think people here are too obsessed with bitcoin, money, etc. You HAVE to understand that none of this shit matters. This is just another weak communication channel. No one gets the real signal. Information is infinitely more important than some monetary drop into humanity. You have got to pay attention to other things. Bitcoin won't matter when continents shift, but basic skills will. While I agree that we need to learn other things and grow in ways not directly related to Bitcoin, you may also acknowledge that money is a big part of the market, and the dynamics of the market are a major area of inspection for science and philosophy. If the universe gives zero fucks about money, it probably gives zero fucks for what you're saying, but you still found it important to say, as evidenced by your revealed preference of having uttered it.

Fiat currency is connected either directly or indirectly to almost every problem on earth it seems to me.To me it's more about my children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Lots of other things are too. I've sort of settled on living a moral life, and a curious one, as the most effective way to help all of those things. This will lead to the destruction/irrelevance of fiat, naturally. It's only rational to save in bitcoin to protect your life and your childrens' lives as part of that. It's pretty awesome.

You don't understand. Bitcoiners are part of Bitcoin's immune system. They play an important role during the incubation phase (0-50 years). There are those who farm organic eggs and those who strive to understand and protect Bitcoin. Both are valid journeys right now. When Bitcoin is entrenched as the global unit of account then all humanity will have the capacity to forge new skills and provide value to the world in a way that is fair and maximises personal freedom. Critical we do not allow fiat to subvert Bitcoin in these early years. Vigilance has value.
