All these image loading issues in China can easily be solved with NIP-95.
They can't block if they don't have a fixed url.

Images can just migrate to a new one. Client apps will find them.
Could also be solved with torrents.
Or just do a simple protocol on top of http that anyone can implement to store content addressable files.

ipfs is way too complicated. We just need something simple on top of http.

Then you would need people to start running storage nodes. This would work fine with nip94 and would be the proper way to do it.
