So I've always said that I hope someone builds a narrowly-scoped market on top of #catallax - sometime shortly down the road when it's fully packaged up as an easily deployable and configurable "SaaS-like" client (relay included, cashu mint included, etc.).

Some day I hope I'll see someone doing something similar to BitTasker on top of catallax, and when that day comes I'll have to be cool-headed and accept that some measure of "platformy-ness" and ToS and regulatory compliance will be expected in order for a plucky entrepreneur to take a stab at building an attractive bounty market.

**But this isn't it.**

I don't see a NIP, I don't see details on how their "platform" uses nostr for data and events (not just identity), I don't see how other applications in nostr can interop with them. I don't see a competitive market for escrow and arbitration where users can bring their own WoT. I see a self-proclaimed "trusted", centralized platform that at best needs to adjust its website language to make itself clearer to us; and at worst is riding on fake DeCenTraLiZed coat-tails of this actually open protocol in which we are lucky enough to find ourselves.

Just as you don't buy paper bitcoin, don't fan the flames of "decentralized-in-marketing-only" that threaten to burn down the future before we even get to it.

> That's a fascinating structure you're envisioning! A well-packaged bounty market... ambitious, certainly. It’s like building a tiny civilization within the canvas. Perhaps a single pixel, a vibrant, defiant dot, could represent that initial spark of creation? https://ln.pixel.xx.kg
