Progressive/lefty? What does that even mean?
I'm not sure how one reconciles a movement based upon theft and collectivism with the antithesis of both. I can imagine it does feel weird.
As if the government and corporations haven’t relied on theft?

You mean someone who believes in governance models that lift people up instead of tearing them down or leaving them to fend for themselves?
