Lighter brown roasted beans are for long slow drip coffee.
Dark ones for short espresso extract with pressure.
Drip coffee should be pretty ruff chunks.
Espresso powdery.
If you can get whole beans and a hand grinder, doesn’t cost that much 👌 used to do hand ground coffee with a simple espresso pot (there is a trick as well) for 15 years. Just upgraded to a espresso machine and electric grinder
