When you run a node, you don't leave your keys with it.

If your keys are not on the node, you can't get rugged. Even if the computer shuts down, blows up whatever, you can pick up and start again without any losses (apart from any replacements of fried computer parts... But how often have you blown up your own laptop/computer/tablet/phone? Has that ever stopped you from owning a computer?)

Not knowing something is never a reason not to try. Of course you should prioritise your personal goals, but wouldn't understanding as much about your own freedom money be a good thing to strive for?

You'll learn a lot of skills along the way and you can do it very safely by following 1 simple rule... Don't put your keys on the node.
