I want to greet all the Russian individuals who left their country due to conflict and now live in Israel.

Yeah, about that... you're using the word "Russian" quite liberally here.
they can share a drink with the 'ukrainians' that dodged the draft
Meanwhile 7 out of 10 Ukrainian women have left relationships.
Did you leave because you would be conscripted, because the war might enter Russian soil, for ethical reasons, or other reasons? And what made you choose Israel, being an orthodox Christian I wouldn't have expected that.
My grandfather left Odessa in 1909, after his parents were killed by the state for protesting taxes levied against Germans in Ukraine who were promised independence by Katherine.
I'm in Russia. But a lot of Russians have gone to "a country that is not at war with its neighbors", and for some random reason these countries turned out to be Israel, Georgia, Armenia, Turkey and the UAE.
I see. I would laugh if that wasn't so sad. I was reading in DW about Russians who fled to Israel and Armenia and thought about that.
It's both sad and funny at the same time.
Personally, I'm sad that there are fewer and fewer neutral and self-sufficient countries outside of conflicts.
War is back on trend, globally.
