Would love to see Claude Code SDK added to Goose for those who can’t afford API access nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m https://docs.anthropic.com/en/docs/claude-code/sdk

Goose already supports claude code as a provider https://block.github.io/goose/docs/guides/cli-providers

I see it now! Thank you 🙏😁

In Windows when I click Claude Code, it doesn’t actually select it / no green checkmark appears after I press Submit.

It is bugged :(

Ahh I see I need to follow the docs not GUI. Will check it out now

I added Claude-code to my path and it still doesn’t work alas.

Configured Goose from terminal and now it’s working. We have liftoff.

Ugh nvm no messages will send. 🤦‍♂️

Looks like Claude Code doesn’t work with Opus yet? Didn’t try any other models with Claude Code but all it suggested was 3.5 at first.

Been using Claude Code with Opus on Roo well though. Not sure if this is a windows specific bug in Goose or if Goose’s Claude Code SDK/support is out-of-date.

i was wondering what this codename goose thing was

local = cloud! makes sense

Well goose can use a variety of backends but i havent had much success with small local models

well that's very gay, because i can run a qwen 14B model on my 16gb 256bit RX 7800XT that spits out text as fast as a cloud machine does on my subscription. i know this model can work with tools so i know it can work with an agent controller.

i'm just gonna hold my beer until jetbrains opens up configuring arbitrary backends on junie because i'm pretty damn sure that it will be competitive with claude 3.7
