on sleep: been using red light after dusk for abt a week

has a calming effect for winding down, the ritual of turning them on also signals time for chill activity/ relaxation

doubly good sleep when only eating once a day in early afternoon & getting rigorous exercise

what is that?

I will try this in winter. Other seasons try to make a point of being outside during magic hour.

I should do this. I have trouble sleeping. Also we did this in the Navy at sunset. “Darken ship”. Interior lights go to red so that when you go outside your vision is already adjusted for the dark. If you’re outside and come in, you aren’t blinded by white lights.
