Sats go up & down in value fast yes but tarrifs prices are fixed till we get a new president. Since those affect the economy it's gunna affect the value of sats.
Let's take a long term comparison .. any commodity of your choice ! Including oil ..

Yea would be nice but it's hard to. Where I live theres nothing with bitcoin. No stores, banks, nothing. So as nice to invest I look at it like buying stock I can't do nothing with it except hold on. But I need to setup a self custodial wallet so i'm in charge. Needs better pc & more money to handle electric spike. Buy cold storage needs $300 for one. Like everything else it's a big upfront to get started & then okay in 10 years how am I gunna cash out without anyone knowing & still live like those billiionaires.

Buy what? If nothing around me takes the currency what can I buy? I'm not trying to shop online & have something shipped to me. I want to go down to my local store but they don't do that. As for everything else you do need. You should know how it goes
Hot wallet = not safe, given by website, not yours, site could belly up with your sats.
Cold = physical device which never connects to internet (but by some magic gets your sats) & is in your hands & im your control.
Yeah it's easy to start I can just go on at full risk with my hot wallet only. But I want to keep it for years build on it & retire to live off of it. So I need to invest in the cold wallet upfront or take the electric spike.
No wonder stock market has a 9 days willing streak .. a 20 years record !

At the end of the day, tarrifs are just another tax. This means you're paying more the govt, but getting nothing more in return. In other words the govt is now having more resources and thus becoming stronger.

They are an ultimatum to corporations to reconfigure their supply chain .. clean up the dirty warehouse ..
Invariably, they result into much better innovation at home ..and abroad ..
And they lead to Decentralisation of manufacturing.. which is a freedom thing ..

Car manufacturers. If they can't make money with factories on US soil due to regulation or expensive workforce despite robotization, then they will not produce cars there nor import them. They will simply move out of the US making less choice for consumer resulting in higher car prices.
