indeed. I had my awakening end of last year after a shitcoin founder "love bombed" me in the interview. After I was inevitably fired for noncompliance I researched cult manipulation and the light dawned.

Yes, extremely unprofessional, number one, and number two, that was just the tip of the iceberg of the manipulations he did to his employees. Every standup, ie, every day, he spent 5 minutes ridiculing a coworker who had a really cheesy italian accent. It made me sick listening to it.
Everything he said in that interview was lies. He followed through with none of it, and because I didn't show up in person to a 3 monthly confab, presumably for him to brainwash me, I inevitably was fired.
He lied to me, made promises he never had any intention to fulfil. Consequently I didn't get to do the work that I was excited to do, and I had no motivation for the shit I ended up doing, not only that, but all his ghouls piled in on me to confuse and complicate the process to make me look bad.
