I was working in a farm when I was less than 10 years old. We did not work for money. Our community got to keep everything that we produced. I have no regrets having had this life and I had no complaints back then as a kid.
Those kids are not poor. They are much richer than anybody in the more civilized world. Being an engineer sucks.
If civilization moved away also from the beaches, and next to their farms and forests also gave surfing back to those kids, if I can dream further, also gave hunting back to them, then they would be doing them a favor.
Engineering and education is slavery. Thanks, but no thanks.
