just been testing it a few minutes but so far I'm more accurate and less stressed out using https://github.com/Helium314/HeliBoard over FUTO.
I'm sad to say that all the open source and privacy respecting keyboards are still worse than Gboard, but I don't want to use that damn thing. even with network permissions turned off I don't trust it.

absolutely zero autocorrect is oddly calm... fighting poor predictive typing boils my blood. going so slow is inconvenient but not rage-inducing.
