It's refreshing to hear his takes on things. If I can be totally honest, it's giving me a chance to see some of the mistakes I've made 😆

To be fair, your "mistakes" was probably your woman's nature "testing" him to see if he's a strong man/partner.
He also made me aware of many mistakes I made in the past. And it were A LOT 😅

The thing is that I wasn’t even aware that I was testing him. I thought we just had subject-matter or philosophical differences.
What’s worse is that I love a good debate and had *past tense* an inability to recognize when we were beyond the debate.
Now that you know of your past mistakes, how do you respond when your lady tests you to see how strong you are?
It's still difficult sometimes to know when I'm being tested or not, but the easy way to deal with those tests/questions is to be righteous if I feel tested.
It's difficult cause on the one hand you try to make your partner happy, but on the other hand you have to make sure you are happy too and make sure you don't come across like a pushover..

I do get a little pissed when I know I'm being tested, but I realize it's not intentional. Like she didn't plan on testing me, but she's just following her feelings
We don’t always know when we’re testing, that is for sure.
I feel like when men test, at least the guys I dated before I got married, are very intentional about it. They’ll put you down very quickly to see how you react.
