Hmm... interesting idea, though I am not sure that solves it. Does it make sense to simply tag NSFW notes with the #nsfw hashtag?
Do you trust that 100% of folks posting nsfw content will self tag their content?

I don't. But for those who would use the checkbox feature, simply tagging with a hashtag is better imho.
