We are the best π
A lot of them are slow. Not dumb but a little slow.
Canadiens are the same way. π
North Midwest specifically- seriously. Everyone is just so helpful and kind. And so polite! Docile even. I love it!

'cause cities suck the life out of you, and most of the Midwest isn't cities?
Spit balling here.
I guess it's just how we were raised.
Makes sense. Loving it.
I'm a Georgian in Minnesota. I've lived all over and Midwesterners are the highest quality peeps.
Michigander here. Born and raised. I can attest to this lol π
Farming is harder than anything city folks can comprehend. After making it through each year, for generations on end, plenty of us don't feel any need to prove ourselves to anyone because the results speak. At least that's how I grew up on the plains - getting a gun and roofing houses beginning age 5, driving tractors at 7, etc.
Plus the cold winters keep riffraff out.
The cold is next level. -1 here today with windchill. Itβs unreal.
We're not nice. We're kind. There is a difference. Nice, is just using pretty words to fein sympathy without "works". Kind, is hearing your need for assistance/help and lending our skill/information. Our "slowness" is processing whether you really need help, or are you attempting to misuse our kindness. In short, we can it home training. We kindly thank you, from the heart of it all. π€
