We touch on bitcoin a bit at the end too. He brought up gold as the interview came toward a conclusion, and I broadened it toward gold/bitcoin and then he ended up asking about bitcoin.

Interesting term, Fiscal Dominance. I had listened to Hidden Forces podcast with guest Charles Calomiris, who also used this term and went through historical influence of politics of the times which shaped economics and policy. He went back to 19th century and carried through to today.
