If I remember correctly, you can pay for the custom name but you don't have to. It works great & is probably the only reason I understand cashu at all 😅

Ah cool. It seems really nice. You're right it is free to use. Maybe that has changed or I misremembered.

I actually really like some of their randomised usernames/addresses.

I am currently addicted to generate them lol. Fml

Wait, I don't really understand. Is minibits just for cashu? Or can someone use this as their lightning address on nostr? Asin would this be a wallet to recommend a new person to use, without explaining what cashu is (which I couldn't do anyway lol)

Yeah it works with lightning too. It's android only so, I recommend it if I know what someone is using

Zap splits are the only place I run into problems with it. I don't know if that's me or just something it doesn't handle well yet. Just a heads up.

I vaguely remember people having funds vanish from it. But maybe that was a user error or maybe it was something else. Or a dream. I'll stick to wos for now lol

I think that was more early problems than anything. Write down the seed phrase though just in case lol
