New ideas that break previous social mores need to be proven to be beneficial to society. How does a male stripper dressed as a satanic clown reading to children make society better? Or allowing men in women’s bathrooms?

you can spin anything … if you just try hard enough.

Not even self aware to the fact that a new belief has been spun that’s structurally incompatible with both previous secular and religious belief systems.

These justifications are so weird. They have the fantastical nature of a new religion, but they lack moral standards, and answering questions about purpose, life and death. LGBTQism/Wokeism/Transgenderism certainly has all the trappings of a proto-religious cult, but I don’t see how anything that’s based purely on post modern deconstruction can build anything long lasting or permanent. :bunthink:

How will this new belief manifest the missing parts to make it a new religion? At some point, there have to be some answers of “no” and not allow every possible “yes.” What name will it eventually have? What will be the canonized religious texts? Will they include Gale Ruben’s famous query theory paper defending potatophiles? These are all questions the current believes of their faith can’t answer, because they don’t even believe it’s a faith.

People dressing in costumes to read to kids is not new at all. They're not having a strip show for kids so literally nothing new problematic or norm breaking. I'm not arguing with terfs, goodbye
