How is the switch from fossil fuels to electric vehicles going to work out considering that the whole infrastructure is not given? For example, I would love to get an electric car, but I’m living in an apartment without a garage for my car and as a consequence, I don’t have the option to charge an electric car.

So that leaves me stuck with a car burning, pretty expensive fossil fuels.

That's the conundrum with electric vehicles. We lack the infrastructure that is needed to scale the EV market share. One of the many things Elon has under-delivered. If we consider that his goal was to lead to mass adoption of EVs and that at the moment Tesla is a boutique auto manufacturer for wealthy clients... Personally I believe that if he was genuine he'd invest much more time and energy into making the transition between the two energy models. But I don't think he was genuine.

I do agree - in my case I’m driving a small car from 2009 and now I have a son and we need a bigger car… it’s just a misery to decide what to get…
